Since Activities Unlimited is a service to both Education Unlimited students and the wider home educating community, there is a separate website and registration system. Activities Unlimited only uses the family information for those that choose to register with Activities Unlimited.

It is important that participants in Activities are school-aged students as defined in the Education Act. For this reason families that register for an Activities Unlimited Membership must be parents, guardians and/or primary caregivers of Alberta Education students with a valid Alberta Student Number (ASN). Activities Unlimited is funded through unused funds in your Education Unlimited families Parent Resource account that have been transferred to the school through your myEU Portal -> Manage and Create Claims. - For non-Education Unlimited families, the annual registration fee goes directly to subsidizing Activities.

We believe that Activities Unlimited first and foremost provides a valuable service to Education Unlimited families and there should be a benefit to being registered with Education Unlimited. We also believe that we shouldn’t keep these Activities to ourselves and have made registration available to other families for a small annual fee.

All memberships are valid for the current academic year and are valid through September 30th. Memberships must be renewed on your first login on or after October 1 each school year. This includes all Education Unlimited registered families (no renewal fee) AND non-Education Unlimited families (annual renewal fee applies).

Absolutely! We are always looking for interested parents, students and alumni that have an interest in expanding this service to families. Submit your idea through the activity submission form

• We do this through a combination of direct suggestions or requests from Education Unlimited families, facilitators and staff as well as occasional requests from interested providers (instructors, businesses, or other organizations). Activities Unlimited is always looking for interesting and in-demand opportunities across the province and we would like to hear your suggestions submit form.

Yes. All registrations completed will provide the parent with an invoice suitable for submission and reimbursement for the Activity. At present, families will have to pay for the registration and then submit the receipt for reimbursement. We are working on a Purchase Order/Direct Bill function but that will be a future improvement.

• Siblings and students permanently living in the same household are eligible to participate in Activities with registered student members of Activities Unlimited (note any Activity registration fees must be paid by any or all participants).
• Students that are registered in Public Education programs can participate in Activities; subject to having a current Activities Unlimited membership Terms and Conditions (to be developed).
